We Have Goodies!

December 20, 2008

Guild member Sarah Chartrand has been busy contacting vendors to ask them to provide samples and items for our retreat.

She’s been very successful and has lined up some exciting goodies. The following list of sponsors have either donated something for everyone, or donated an item that we will be giving away as a prize.

Take a look at who has been very generous:

Boston Clay Works
Amaco
Lisa Pavelka
Polymer Clay Superstore
Jaquard
Kim Cavender
Polyform Products (aka Sculpey)
EZScreenPrint (PhotoEZ)

So not only will you be learning from some wonderfully talented and artistic teachers at the retreat but you’ll also come away with some real nice goodies!

Please visit our sponsors (click on the links above) if you are going to be shopping online. Let them know you heard about them from the Vancouver Polymer Clay Guild. Enjoy!

After a summer hiatus, the Vancouver Polymer Clay Guild started it’s 3rd season of Guild meetings on September 27th .
[Season 1: February 07-June 07, Season 2: September 07-June 08].

Planning and organizing for the upcoming HORIZONS! retreat (February 20-22/09) are front and centre of the Guild’s activities right now. Many wonderful proposals for workshops and demonstrations were received and the Program Committee is busy drafting the program schedule.

A reminder that early registration is now open, and you can register without even knowing what is being offered . . . . from what we’ve seen so far, there are many exciting and varied workshops and demonstrations being offered. There’s sure to be lots to interest everyone.
